I’M ANGIE FOX.
It’s my mission to bring more compassion into the workplace—and into the world.
As a coach and consultant, I’m committed to helping you grow in the face of the challenges that inevitably come your way at work.
I know from experience that even positive challenges, choices, and changes can throw us off our game and that trying to put on a brave face and a stiff upper lip isn’t the solution.
Acknowledging that the bumpy ups and downs effect us and learning to accept support is what gets us back on track.
My life is messy and imperfect, just like yours!
And yet I’m also simultaneously whole and complete, learning from my experiences, navigating ever-changing terrain that sometimes feels scary, and stepping into the mystery anyway.
I’ve learned how facing messy moments with curiosity and compassion can not just get us back on track but put us on an easier, more meaningful path altogether.
That’s why I’m committed to helping you.
Whether you need support leading a new team, adjusting to a new role, or managing stress at home as well as at work, I’ll make good company for your journey
MY STORY
Early in my career, I felt too young to be in a leadership role and didn’t trust that my older male colleagues would take me seriously.
Working with a coach helped me shift my perspective and find my feet.
When my kids were young, I took on a global role with expanded leadership responsibility and overseas travel requirements. Learning how to navigate the global hours and the added complexity at home was no easy feat!
Thankfully, I had a handful of bosses who knew how to offer me the support I needed.
Two years after starting my own business, I suddenly lost my last living parent and that same year my marriage fell apart. I faced a lot of grief and mixed feelings while still building my new career.
I am lucky to have a long-term coach that helps me navigate the bumpy ups and downs.
HERE’S HOW WE CAN WORK TOGETHER
MY EXPERIENCE
I was certified as an Integral Coach from New Ventures West in San Francisco in 2007 and became an Aletheia Faculty Coach in 2016.
Until 2012, I spent 15 years with Genentech, Inc., a member of the Roche group, in a variety of Learning and Development roles. While there, I supported global learning organizations, managed local and remote staff, created and facilitated a variety of training and leadership programs, and led major change initiatives.
I live with my two children and second husband in Pinole, CA, where we spend much of our time enjoying our garden, growing vegetables, raising chickens, eating the fruits of our labor, and working to regenerate the soil that nourishes us back.
